Mengembara untuk Belajar Erti Hidup
Bermula dengan kemahuan untuk mengajar anak-anak erti hidup luar dari kepompong, kami mulakan perjalanan ground travel kami pada hujung tahun 2015. Hanya dari KL ke Hadyai (HDY), menaiki keretapi ke Bangkok (BKK) dan seterusnya ke Vientianne (VTN), Laos. Perjalanan KL ke HDY menaiki bas. Terus terang saya katakan yang saya memang tak berapa gemar naik bas sebab they drive like mad and you have no idea betapa hati ni tak tenang berzikir sokmo sampai la terlelap... bangun-bangun ja tengok luar... bila tak sampai lagi tu mula la risau sampai ke idak ke destinasi. But that is besides the point. Little that we know, the travels despite the heavy bags, the lack of sleep and the lack of halal food, the kids look forward to every end of the year. Becoz after the first trip, we realized that we bond a lot more than when we were home. And we began to look forward to the 16 hours HDY-BKK and BKK-HDY rides.
